Here is an interesting article published by
Celebrity Baby Blog. The article consist of quotes from this week's OK!
magazine. Scans may
be available in the next few
days...
Despite spending much of her
childhood in Hollywood filming her sitcom Zoey 101, Jamie Lynn
Spears says those days -- for now -- are in the past. "You
know, Hollywood is not really for me right now -- not in the place that
I'm at," explains the actress. Instead, Jamie Lynn and her fiancé Casey
Aldridge have turned their focus to their baby girl, Maddie Briann, 3 ½
months, as they settle into their new life as a family in Louisiana,
the couple's home state. Although Casey shares that they "didn't plan
[having a baby] at all," he is more than thrilled with his new role as
a dad, saying the situation has "turned out for the
better."
While Jamie Lynn does admit that Maddie's
doctors "say don't do it," according to the 17-year-old, Maddie is
"perfectly happy sleeping right in between" her parents in their big
bed! With a baby that sleeps well, Jamie Lynn stresses that neither of
them lose any rest with their nighttime arrangements. In fact,
co-sleeping, for Casey, allows him to spend each morning next to his
daughter when she is "happier," moments he calls his favorite time with
her. Casey, 19, -- who reveals he has "changed a few" diapers and is
"pretty good at it" -- enjoys his bonding time with Maddie, whose
favorite past-times these days include laughing during tummy-time. As
for Jamie Lynn, who considers herself "so blessed," when it comes to
her favorite time with her baby girl, she is quick to say
"everything!"
"It is a whole new life, but it is a better life than I could
ever ask for. Every day, waking up with a reason to go and do
something. It is something to live for and to work for. It is that
reason every day, right here in my
hands."
A full-time student at a nearby
community college, Casey is studying process technology, preparing
himself to work on a pipeline after he graduates with an associate's
degree. While his schedule has him in school two days a week from 8
a.m. to 4 p.m., Jamie Lynn is not yet ready to join him at college.
While the star agrees that she "could take online courses right now,"
she shares that with "Maddie being so young, it's hard to sit down and
focus." Instead, Jamie Lynn hopes to spend time with her daughter until
she is "a little bit older," before going to college and earning her
degree, something she says is definitely in her plans. However, as a
recent trip to a football game proved, Jamie Lynn is still reluctant to
leave Maddie at home even though the tiny tot stayed with Grandma
Lynne. Noting that the day trip was the "longest I'd ever been away
from her," the new mom admits longer breaks from motherhood are not in
the immediate future.
"Oh, not overnight! I'm not doing that until she's at least a
year."
After months of break-up rumors
surrounding the couple, Casey swears that the stories are all
fabricated, as he reveals that the threesome is "doing great." Says
Casey, "I'm just happy and I love Jamie and Maddie more than anything."
While the new family is blossoming, as of now, there is no set date for
the couple to tie the knot, a decision that Jamie Lynn and Casey both
agree on. However, that certainly doesn't mean that their special day
won't come, as the actress says that "definitely, one day" they will
get married, but not until Maddie is old enough to "be a part of it, so
that she won't just be sitting there the whole time." For Casey, the
traditional timeline of marriage and then a baby is not for him, as he
explains that it is important to make the commitment for the right
reasons.
"Some people think that you should just get married if you
have a baby and you're young. I think you should try it out and
see."

MTV published an article regarding Jamie Lynn Spears' relationship status with Casey Aldridge. Most of the information below is based on this week's OK! magazine. (What's New then?) Jamie Lynn Spears is planning to get a Business degree in college after Maddie Briann gets settled.
Jamie Lynn Spears goes on the record in the latest issue of OK! Magazine about the nature of her relationship with fiance Casey Aldridge, amid rumors that the father of her 3-month-old daughter Maddie Briann has been unfaithful to the former "Zoey 101" star.
Shortly after Spears, 17, gave birth to their daughter in June, tabloids began to report that Aldridge, 19, was seeing other women and had gotten one of them pregnant. In the OK! interview, which took place at the couple's Mississippi home, Aldridge denied the allegations, noting that small-town politics had a lot to do with the rumors surfacing.
"In a small town, everybody knows everybody," he told the magazine. "But when money's involved, you find out who your friends are."
Meanwhile, Spears defended her fiance and accused the women who alleged that Aldridge was dating them of doing it for the attention. "What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea,' " she explained. "They all jumped on the bandwagon."
She also flat-out denied any rumors that 28-year-old Kelli Dawson is pregnant with Aldridge's child, saying that Dawson has a reputation for not telling the truth. "That is just completely fabricated," Jamie Lynn added. "He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories."
But what bothers Spears the most is the fact that she and Aldridge's family have to deal with the media scrutiny. "It hurt me to hear those things, because my family has to read it. It's not fair to them," she said. "Casey's family is not used to this. They might assume it's true. My family knows it's not. It was definitely harder for Casey's family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business."
Spears said her own family is standing behind the young couple while they raise their daughter in the eyes of the media. "They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn't put up with it," she said. "My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt."
When asked about the future, the couple said they intend to marry, but not any time soon. Spears said she wants to wait until Maddie is old enough to take part in the ceremony. "We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now," she said. "There isn't a rush for anything."
However, they are working on their futures: Aldridge is studying process technology at Southwest Mississippi Community College. And, once the baby gets older, Spears also hopes to attend college.
"I want to get my business degree. I could take online courses right now, but with Maddie being so young, it's hard to sit down and focus," she said. "I do want to go to college and get my degree."
Jamie Lynn Spears have gone further to silence previous rumors of her splitting with Casey Aldridge. She has told OK! that the only thing holding back her wedding is the fact that Maddie Briann is still too young to be an intricate part to their wedding. Additionally, reliable sources have revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears is NOT pregnant (in order words, recent rumors are entirely false).
JAMIE LYNN SPEARS and her fiance CASEY ALDRIDGE have blasted rumours of a split - insisting they are still very much a couple and plan to marry one day.
The teen couple - parents of four-month-old baby Maddie - have become the subject of much tabloid speculation in recent months, with reports suggesting they are living apart, after Aldridge cheated on the 17-year-old actress.
But in an interview with OK! magazine the pair insists the infidelity rumours are false, and maintain a wedding is planned once their baby daughter is old enough to take part in the ceremony. Spears says, "We both agree we want Maddie to be a little bit older so that we she can be a part of it, so that she won't just be sitting there the whole time.
"We are engaged and we are really happy with where we are right now. There is no rush for anything." Meanwhile, a representative for the teenage actress has denied reports Jamie Lynn is already pregnant with her second child.
