JAMIE MAKES PLANS

 Jamie Lynn Spears took another step toward marriage and motherhood Thursday – registering for gifts at Babies R Us.
Spears, who turns 17 on April 4, drove 80 miles to Baton Rouge from her home at the Serenity mansion in Kentwood, La., was reportedly accompanied by her cousin, and, "somebody called ahead to say they were coming in," a source told PEOPLE.
Reportedly flashing an engagement ring on her left hand, Spears also was sporting a shirt that read "The Rumors Are True" as she and her cousin both registered for gifts at the store, according to sources.
Casey Aldridge, 18, the baby's father, is listed as her "co-registrant" and the "event date" listed is July 10. Spears added the message: "Thank you for supporting us during this special time."
The Zoey 101 star's choices ranged from a $1.49 teething ring to a $300 car seat. Other requests include an ultrasound frame, a Cookie Monster bath towel and a Baby Neptune Ocean Gym. Spears was careful not to select any pink or blue items, instead opting for sage-green terry cloth changing-pad covers and receiving blankets decorated with Disney characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

JAMIE LYNN ENGAGED!

 Pregnant 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey Aldridge are engaged, his cousin, Tina Robinson, confirms to Usmagazine.com.
"He proposed a few days ago, and she accepted," Robinson tells Us.
Robinson says she hasn’t seen a ring and didn’t know whether they would wed before or after Jamie Lynn delivers.
“They probably weren’t expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up,” Robinson tells Us.
Spears and Aldridge, 18, announced they were expecting their first child together in December.
Around the time of their big news, Aldridge's uncle, Odus Jackson, 71, told Us he was "hopeful" for a future wedding.
"It would be something that we could all look forward to in time and that it would not be a forced thing even if it happened," he said.
Spears, star of the Nickelodeon hit Zoey 101, recently got her GED.
She and Aldridge have been spotted around her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

JAMIE LYNN - GUEST STAR

 Jamie Lynn Spears may be getting ready for a new arrival and taking the SATs, but she isn't stepping out of TV entirely. The former Zoey 101 star will be guesting on the second ep of ABC's Miss/Guided, March 20_(8 pm/ET), following its premiere March 18.
The new comedy centers on Becky Freeley_(Judy Greer), a former uber-awkward teen who's now returning to her alma mater as the school's guidance counselor. In the first episode, Spears will play, appropriately, a student who's gotten good news from a college, but may toss it all aside if it affects her romantic life — which, we all know, can be pretty intense in high school.
Judging by this exclusive first photo of JLS' tarted-up character, that romantic life seems to be going well! But man, why does she look so familiar in such an outfit and getting out of the car like that...?
Also guesting in the eppy is Ashton Kutcher, playing a substitute Spanish teacher, aka a guapo love interest for Becky. — Anna Dimond
